More infoPC Based Whole-Body Vibration Measurement Vibro Metra Body is applied for measuring human whole-body vibrations. Whole-body vibrations are caused by vibrations or shocks which are transmitted by machines and vehicles in the workplace via seat or feet. If a person is exposed to strong whole-body vibrations, safety and health are endangered and it is proven that backache can be provoked or aggravated. The "vibration directive” (directive 2002/44/EC) defines minimum requirements for the protection against risks arising from whole-body vibrations.
More infoPC Based Hand-Arm Vibration Measurement Vibro Metra Hand is applied for measuring human hand-arm vibrations. Hand-arm vibrations are caused by vibrations or shocks which are transmitted by tools, machines and vehicles in the workplace via inner hand and fingers. If a person is exposed to strong hand-arm vibrations, safety and health are endangered and there is an increasing risk of bone, joint and muscle diseases. The "vibration directive” (directive 2002/44/EC) defines minimum requirements for the protection against risks arising from hand-arm vibrations. The measurements are based on the international standards ISO 5349 and ISO 8041.
More infoPC Based Measuring System for Ship Vibration Vibro Metra Ship is used to measure human whole-body vibrations on ships. Whole-body vibrations are caused by vibrations which are transmitted from drives and machines to a person that is standing, sitting or lying down. If the crew is exposed to strong whole-body vibrations, safety and health are endangered. Too strong vibrations also diminish the comfort of the passengers in their cabins. The international standard ISO 6954 provides guide values for different classes of rooms. Exceeding these guide values may cause complaints. For acceptance inspections, parties can use these guide values or agree on their own values.

More infoSP 95 Impact Ball is used for sound insulation testing in light weight structures where a standard (tapping machine) impact sound source would create too much impact force. It has been designed in accordance to ISO 10140-5 and ISO 16283-2 standards. The use of SP 95 Impact Ball is very easy - it is dropped vertically in a free fall from height of 100 cm to the surface of the floor. In practice SP 95 can be used to assess soft impacts related to human disturbance, such as children jumping.
